Without understanding habit change and knowing how to manage our triggers, responses, and rewards, we’re setting ourselves up for failure—our effort is either not working or is taking too long and we become discouraged. That’s what the Habit Challenge program provides—the knowledge and tools you need to be successful in your Personal Habit Challenge. The workbook provides in-depth information about habits—how they develop, how to manage them, and how to replace negative habits with healthy new ones. Exercises in each chapter will guide you through the process of self-discovery so you can acquire new thinking and behavior. Exercise results will be transferred to the app, customizing it just for you.
If you use the strategy presented in our program and do the work required, you’ll be firmly planted on solid ground and equipped to accomplish the life change you are seeking. Completing Habit Challenge will give you the impetus to become a BYOCA (Be Your Own Change Agent)
Your Instructor
Ron Ovitt is an author, ordained minister, pastoral counselor, recovery
coach, podcaster, and public speaker. Ron is a Change Agent. Besides being in the ministry,
Ron has studied both at the undergraduate and
graduate level in Clinical Psychology and has participated in many different
seminars and courses. Well-read in the latest research, Ron has a grasp on
the latest in neuroscience, trauma recovery, and anxiety and has training in
practices such as Neurofeedback, EMDR, CPT, Poly Vagal Theory,
Somatic Experiencing, and PTSD Growth techniques. Ron is an expert in the integration of
Christianity and Psychology.
Ron has had successful recovery and homeless ministries. It was then that he started teaching about the emotional issues involving addiction, anxiety and how we can change. He has lectured on
Emotional Resilience over 500 times and has an online following of thousands. He specializes in emotional resilience, anxiety, habits, relationships, and Christian spirituality and discipleship.
